Inmiddels is deze actie voorbij, en heb ik de opbrengst, afgerond naar 5 euro, voor dit doel overgemaakt.

Vanaf 5 augustus 2010 tot en met 5 oktober 2010 doneer ik de inkomsten van de demo Total Collapse (1.08 euro per demo) aan de inzameling voor een dassentunnel. Op de demo staat o.a. Earth 1.9. Deze kan ook apart direct gedownload worden voor €1.00. Dan gaat er €0.50 naar dit doel. Dus aarzel niet langer!
De gitarist en mede-oprichter van mijn voormalige band Propellerorganiseert regelmatig het Fretless Guitar Festival in Den Haag.
Op 7 en 8 mei 2010 is het weer zover, dan is het namelijk de beurt aan de vijfde editie van het evenement.Hieronder het persbericht.
The Dutch Fretless Guitar Festival 5 in Den Haag will feature again international acts. The only rule is: no frets.
The style of music is not important as long as the guitar player plays sans frets.
Returning this year for the third time from Germany we have Sound Wolke. First time around Albert played Fretless dobro and sang some ragas from India. Next time he made loops with a home made electric standing fretless bass and played on top of it with a Martin travel fretless guitar.
This year he's back with his son Severin playing guitar and his nephew Dominik playing drums and guitar.
AutorYno are from Paris. Three youth friends, all conservatoire graduates that make amazing progressive rock music. They are here for the second time.
Mahavira are first comers. From London, playing beautiful Grunch Rock with a good singer. They gig on regular basis in the London area but are here in The Hague for the first time.
Willem Niehorster will play with a new project, Amygdala. He'll be playing fretless guitar, Hans Swaep Fretless bass and Michiel Coolen drums. Their music is rock with funk and mostly improvised.
Jan Kelston from Belgium will be giving a demonstration of his self deigned/made instrument called the Kelstone. It is a horizontal string instrument played with ten fingers! Like a stick or Warr Guitar played in lap steel position.
And returning for the fourth time is Melle Weiters with drummer Etienne Nillesen now living in Germany. This duo is simply amazing. They play with sound and not with music. Etienne played cymbals with a violin bow during the DFGF 3. Melle has no pedals, only an amp and a guitar. The sound comes from the fingers, from a fretless guitar!
Op 5 augustus 2010 plaatste ik een oproep om voor een klein bedrag mijn muziek te downloaden. De opbrengst was dan voor de dassentunnel.
